Surreal

Adrian knew what was ahead of him.

An eleven hour long journey back to the city of his dreams, and he's excited already! Well, is he? It's an answer even he finds himself unable to answer. Part of him says it'll be yet another of those long journeys that will bore the hell out of him, but a part of him says he's wrong. Little did he know that this long ride would end up as a whole new adventure. Well, it'll be an adventure if he sees so, or it'll end up being his worst nightmare. I tell you, it's how he takes.

As he was contemplating of how he'd spend the rest of his time he has, he noticed two figures brush past him. He jumped in a jolt wondering what it were. Oh well, they're just a couple of his copassengers. But something was strangely strange about their demeanour. He couldn't help but stare at their well-toned bodies and bulging muscles and those pictorials that can make the straightest of men swoon like puppies. Luckily, to his surprise, the young men were engrossed in serious talk, and didn't seem to notice the discreet pair of eyes staring at them. The more Adrian watched them, more had their Aryan features looked more pronounced. what's so special about these strangers that he can't revert his eyes from them?

Some strange feeling told that he knew them, and they know him.

It was sudden when one of them noticed our hero with his stares now advancing towards the "intimidating glare" phase, and said, "Hello, Adrian!"

How does he know my name?

"Helooo!", came another voice followed by distinct peals of laughter as fresh and clear as the resonating shards of crystal in those pretty little boxes Adrian used to play with as a kid.

It took a while for him to snap out of the daze, noticing now that the two young men are smiling toward him. He thought it'd be polite enough to reciprocate a smile but failed, returning a crooked twitch of his lips.

They're gonna think I'm weird.. Act cool.. Act cool.

"I'm Aroh", said one of them. Adrian couldn't help but notice the dreamy eyes Aroh had. They were those pretty brown eyes with that innate power to steal people's trust. There was something more hidden in those eyes. A sense of intimacy, a sense of "knowing". It felt as if he really knew the stranger sitting right in front of him with a seducing smile.
"Hey, I'm Adrian", he blurted out with a nervous smile, later adding, "I guess you already knew that" sheepishly.
"Yup! We do.", said the other, "by the way, I'm Romanus", he said extending his palm. There was something starnge about Romanus that Adrian realised.

His tattoos!

Romanus was this tall towering man with apparently, a great taste of art, reflected by his selection of tattoos that rather decorated his skin. The tattoos varied from ancient Celtic lores to modern day fan art. It seems like any skilled cryptologist would hastily ascribe him to a zillion cults and fandoms. He must be a treasure trove of stories, Adrian guessed.

For a moment, Adrian was amused by the fact that these strangers do not seem strange anymore. Their enticing smile, their all knowing eyes, and especially their unquestionable oratory skills made Adrian fall for them. He found himself drowning in the warmth of these two young men. He even went to the brink of forgetting that they actually called him by his nickname, a secret only beheld by the closest of his friends. Oh, and what was the name? I guess we aren't close enough to him.... yet.
In fact, he is even sensing that the real him is fading away- a shy quiet self was being replaced by this gregarious human- a reflection of the two strangers sitting by him. He knew he was losing it.
